What's Included?

Pregnancy Confirmation

Confirmation of an intrauterine pregnancy. You must have had a positive pregnancy test to book an early pregnancy ultrasound with us.

Visualisation of heartbeat

Please note we will not listen to baby’s heartbeat pre 15 weeks.

Pelvic Assessment

Visual assessment of ovaries and pelvic area. All scans pre 10 weeks gestation will be complete trans-vaginally, to provide you with the most accurate results. If you have any concerns please contact the clinic prior to your appointment.

Pregnancy Dating

Estimated dating of your pregnancy by measurements. Please ensure you are at least 6 weeks based on your last menstrual cycle. If you have irregular cycles or are unsure of your last menstrual cycle dates we recommend booking at least two weeks following your first positive pregnancy test.

Early Pregnancy Obstetric Report & Photo Print

Following your appointment you will be provided with an obstetric report with your scan findings and one photo print to take away.

Important Information

You can bring additional guests to your Early Pregnancy scan. You can visit us for your Early Pregnancy ultrasound from 6 weeks based on your LMP. If you are pre-10 weeks, it is recommended that your scan will be conducted transvaginally. If you are 10+ weeks, it is likely your scan will be abdominal and you will need a full bladder. Please bring any notes from any previous scans or appointments in this pregnancy, if you have them. Please note we use both male and female sonographers in our clinics. I had my private scan on the 22nd of…

I had my private scan on the 22nd of march 2025 and the experience I had was amazing the staff was amazing and the atmosphere was exceptional especially when it was my first private scan checking on my little girl I would definitely be recommending window to the womb to anyone that wants a private scan

We visited the Hamilton branch today…

We visited the Hamilton branch today and we couldn’t have had a better experience. All members of staff are very welcoming and make you feel comfortable. Products and services are great! Would highly recommend this branch to everyone. Will be booking another scan in a few months to see how baby has grown thank you team!

Such a lovely experience

Such a lovely experience. The sonographer was so good, managed to get some beautiful 4D photos of my baby dispite her being the wrong way at first and sent me for a walk in hopes of her repositioning. The staff there were so kind and welcoming. Really can’t recommend enough!

We have visited window to the womb…

We have visited window to the womb twice now and had both really good experiences. Can’t fault them. Especially as we didn’t have the best 20 week scan experience with the NHS. Well we decided to book a 26 week 4D HD scan at Swindon branch and the staff were all so helpful and friendly. Our baby wasn’t in the correct position so they asked us to return a little later which worked after eating some fizzy sweets! They were very patient and very thorough through the whole scan process and would definitely recommend them to anyone!

What a team !!

WOW – A beautiful experience

It went better than expected. The appointment was only about 10 minutes long but we felt like we were in there 30. The staff were all very lovely and we were spoken through the WHOLE thing from start to finish. Got to see that our little boy was doing well (with a 4D sneak peak too) and also got to purchase a movie of our whole scan afterwards. The whole experience was amazing and would highly recommend a private scan with Window to the Womb to every set of expecting parents.

Very understanding and a great staff…

Very understanding and a great staff team who provide a lot of reassurance to expecting parents. Staff are very friendly, chatty and helpful, always happy to answer any questions you might have and they just make a very nervous time a lot more relaxed and enjoyable for you. I will not be using anyone else for my private scans!

Amazing experience at our 4D Scan!!

Had our 4D scan at window to the womb Wolverhampton/bilston. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The clinic was clean, tidy and comfortable. Really enjoyed our experience. The 4D scan was amazing! Would 100% recommend window to the womb to friends and family.

WTTW Reading

All the staff at WTTW reading are lovely. They make an effort to make you feel comfortable and welcome. The sonographers and assistants are professional, friendly and chatty- as well as all of the reception staff. Couldn’t recommend them enough

Fantastic experience, definitely recommend!

The team were absolutely great ! Really friendly, very informative and well organised. Experience was so worth the money the heartbeat filled the room, plenty of screen for our other children to see their baby sister and gender reveal was so special with whole room turning pink. Can’t wait to return for our 4d scan in May 🙂
