Dr Hilary Jones is an English GP, presenter and writer on medical issues. He is particularly well-known for his media appearances, especially on the television. He is part of the magazine team “The A Team” as the health expert in The Sun on Sunday.

His TV career began in 1989 when he became the TV-am doctor and he has featured regularly on GMTV since 1993. Dr Hilary continues to feature on Good Morning Britain as this show has replaced Daybreak and Lorraine.

Dr Hilary recently issued the latest release of the popular online magazine ‘Celebrity Angels – Live to 100’, offering them an exclusive interview in which he discussed conception, pregnancy and more. In this interview, he looks to inform women about stages in their pregnancy, discussing Window to the Womb and the reassurance we can offer mums-to-be.

He talks about the routine scans you are offered with the NHS, but also raises awareness that one in three expectant mums are now opting for private ultrasound scans. We know, and GP’s know, that women visit private scan clinics such as Window to the Womb for various reasons; whether it be previous pregnancy complications or that they just want to see their baby – we welcome all mums to our nationwide clinics.
Dr Hilary has also included a list that expectant mums should use when they are looking to book their private scan, including whether the Sonographers are qualified, whether the clinic is registered with the Care Quality Commission and that there is an NHS relationship (just in case).

The well-being and safety of mum and baby are paramount, as is the importance of reducing any anxious or worried feelings that an expectant mum may be feeling.
