Very professional and friendly owners/ staff. We have visited the clinic 4 times and never been disappointed. Highly recommend the 4d scan. The price of the scans are very reasonable for what you get. They also have a early scan between 6-14 weeks which was very reassuring for us as we were very anxious and nervous! All the best Mr&Mrs Sharma!

Good experience and would recommend for any expectant mother. The staff are brilliant, very professional and friendly. Only issue was the female manager who was rather rude when we wanted to change our appointment and then wanted to charge us £50 if we wanted to return again.

Had the most amazing 4d scan at 29 weeks with pictures. The sonographer was brilliant and so was the assistant. I went at 25 weeks but the baby was breech so i was rescanned at 29. Saw my baby sucking its thumb and it looks just like his nephew. ALso bought a teddy bear with a recording of the heartbeat in.

Visited the first scan clinic to find out how far pregnant i was and to make sure everything was ok with baby. Visited at 8 weeks. I could see my baby on the large screens. Everything was explained to me in detail which was helpful. Would highly recommend to everyone. Had my NHS scan and this had nothing on my private scan. I will be visiting again for a gender scan and a 4d scan.

I read a disturbing article in the mail on Sunday this morning and wished to tell my own story in the hopes that it would support Dr Sharma. The article tells of how Dr Sharma of Window to the world made a monumental mistake that could have lead to their baby being aborted. This article is unfair and sensationalism and damaging to the Dr’s practice. The facts are not displayed correctly about procedures and imply that this Dr did not do his job correctly. He has been named and shamed, and it’s actually not an accurate representation of what goes on when a woman is 8 weeks pregnant and there is no heart beat in the NHS system. Last year on the 17th of June 2017, I visited the Window to the world as I was 8 weeks pregnant, and wanted an earlier scan than the NHS 12 week one. I was seen by Dr Sharma, who after doing an internal scan, explained to my partner and I that there was no heart beat on the screen. He showed us and explained what we were looking at and what we should be looking for and determined that it looked like I’d had a missed miscarriage. He was exceptionally compassionate in his delivery of such devastating news and explained it happened to 1 in 4 pregnancies. He then explained that we would need to book a consultation at the Early pregnancy unit closest to our home, which was Frimley Park. He called Frimely park immediately and made an appointment for us to see them a few days later as that was the earliest appointment available. He explained that should I feel sick or anything happen in between that day and our appointment with EPU I should visit A&E immediately. We left devastated. I arrived at my EPU appointment a few days later, expecting to go in for a D&C straight away, but what I didn’t know, and a lot of people don’t seem to know is that the NHS won’t accept a private scan and will not perform a D&C without their own scans first. They won’t even help you at A&E with a private scan, they have to have their own scans due to their regulations. Dr Sharma did not explain to us that we should get a second scan because he KNEW already that the NHS would automatically do that. The EPU sonographer scanned me and determined that there was indeed no heartbeat, however explained to me that even though I’ve now had 2 scans, the NHS would not give me an D&C until they were 100 % sure that there was no heartbeat. They explained very clearly that at 8 weeks pregnant, there is still a small chance a heart could start beating, but to be sure they would have to rescan me one week later, to ensure that there was indeed no growth and no heartbeat before they would do anything. This is STANDARD procedure on the NHS. The couple in the article would have been given the same information. It is hard to wait that whole week and it’s hard not to have a little bit of hope that you may be lucky enough to have a heartbeat at the next scan. Most people are not that lucky. Susanna and her husband are exceptionally fortunate, and I feel happy for them that their baby has been delivered well and healthy, however I do feel that it is not fair to slam someone with a decent reputation for doing their job, and making claims he could have cost them their baby, posting his name in the paper and not stating the facts of the situation far more clearly. Perhaps that is the journalists mistake, I’m not sure, but one thing is for sure - The NHS would NOT have given this lady a D&C without them properly checking first so it’s not fair to say Dr Sharma made a mistake. There is loads of evidence on line that one can read about, detailing many woman who have experienced a heart beat only developing in the 8th or 9th week. This is another reason why the NHS won’t scan earlier than 12 weeks, and if you have a scan at 8 weeks, with no heartbeat, they will make you wait another week for a second scan. I hope that my own experience and clarifying a few facts will lead to at least save a little bit of this man’s business and reputation. In our experience he was gentle, compassionate and did his job well.

I can not recommend Window to the Womb enough. Staff are professional and compassionate. I was very anxious throughout my pregnancy so we went for a number of scans. The scans were never rushed, we were able to ask all questions we wanted and the staff were just lovely from moment we walked through the door. Yes, most appointments were running late but this is because every scan they do is treated with utmost respect and they make the time as intimate as possible for every person who goes there. They share in your excitement with you but respecting your feelings at the same time.Thank you to all staff, our little girl is now 2months old and being able to watch her grow in my belly was such a blessing.

I was given my scan package as an early Christmas present, having had a NHS 20 week scan that wasn’t great. The NHS sonographer wasn’t too friendly, and wasn’t aware of my situation, so the whole appointment was rather negative. We wanted to have rescan which was more pleasant to makeup for the negative experience. The staff in Chessington Window to the Womb were all very friendly and helpful, plus there was free parking. The sonographer was very pleasant too and the whole process was a happier one. Our little baby unfortunately was hiding, so we had to come back another day for a free rescan….bonus…we got to meet our little one again! There was an issue with the sound on our videos and the scale of our printed pictures, but I contacted them and they rectified the situation straight away. Great customer service! We now have videos with music laid over them and some frameable pictures. The Bumpies app allowed us to download our pictures and videos to our devices. We also purchased a heartbeat cuddly toy which I love….it is unique! I don’t normally go in for all the add on extras but it is priceless. We are pleased with our package and found it good value.
