I am 18 or older & agree with the Terms & Conditions. Bookings for 16 & 17 year olds must be made by a responsible adult such as a parent or legal guardian who must attend on the scan day. We cannot scan under 16 year olds.
Your firstScan appointment is an early-pregnancy scan. At this stage of pregnancy we apply additional safety controls.
We strongly recommend leaving at least 2 weeks between early-pregnancy ultrasound scans, including any NHS or other private scan you have already had. An early scan repeated within a shorter window often shows little new information and can sometimes increase anxiety rather than relieve it. We will not scan you within 1 week of a previous early-pregnancy ultrasound scan.
If your previous early-pregnancy scan was inconclusive, we recommend a further 2-week interval so that we can give you the most informative scan.
If you are experiencing symptoms such as bleeding or pain, both your NHS Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit and Window to the Womb are options available to you. Our scan is performed by a qualified sonographer within our scope of practice.
We recommend leaving at least 2 weeks between growth scans, so that we can give you the most informative measurements.
Window to the Womb does not replace your NHS antenatal care, which continues throughout your pregnancy.
By continuing, you confirm you have read the above.
Thank you for choosing Window to the Womb. Your firstScan appointment is an early-pregnancy scan focused on confirming basic indicators at this stage of pregnancy — for example viability, gestational dating and multiple pregnancy. This scan does not replace your routine NHS antenatal care, which continues alongside our service.
By completing your booking, you confirm understanding of these points, with a detailed Informed Consent Agreement to follow.
Thank you for choosing Window to the Womb. Our scan is a wellbeing check focused on confirming basic fetal indicators, such as heartbeat, movement and growth at this stage of pregnancy. This scan does not replace your NHS antenatal care, including your NHS 20-week anomaly scan, which provides a more comprehensive assessment.
