Please be aware that 4D scanning is totally dependent on the position baby is in and the amount of fluid surrounding baby .We perform 4D scans from 17 to 36 weeks, in our experience the best time for a 4D scan is between 25 to 30 weeks when baby is a good size and still has room to move freely.
17 to 23 weeks baby is very small and can look very fetal so we can not get good definition of features .
25 to 30 weeks recommended for good face imaging.
31 to 36 weeks baby is very large and the amount of room is minimal so movement is limited, also baby may be low down in the pelvis and we could not guarantee full face imaging, as ultrasound beams can not pass through the bones in the pelvis.
We have successfully scanned up to 40 weeks but would still recommend that you come sooner rather than later.

Please drink 2 extra glasses of water every day starting the week before your scan this will keep you well hydrated. Try not to poke and prod your baby most don’t like it.
Try to find half an hour a day to relax gently stroke and massage your bump get dad to join in, pop on some soothing music.
On day of scan have a meal around 2hrs before you arrive with us.
20-30mins before your scan have some chocolate/sweets, fizzy pop, fresh orange, this will hopefully help to get baby moving.
If you would like to add your own music as backing to your DVD thats great. All music on cd
If your traveling over 45mins please try to arrive 15- 30 mins early take a walk, or pop into the Wheelhouse pub next door or the traditional 18th century Admiral Rodney pub in Wollaton Village.Have a long cold full sugar drink and bar snack.

hello, i want to say a big thank you,
i paid to have a scan with you on april 21st for my daughter for her birthday, i think having it is not only wonderful but save his life !!
on the scan his cord was round the back of his neck and coming round the front and tickling his lip, we told the midwife this and she keep a closer eye on him telling her this made her monitor him more which ended up having an emergency c section because he wasnt getting enough oxygen.
so i would like to say a big thank you and will be up soon with a photo of tyrelle and some flowers

Just wanted to say thank you so much for the most amazing experience we had at our scan last night. You were all fantastic people and have the gift of making us feel like the only people in the world at that time having a baby. You were so patient with our shy little girl and went out your way to ensure we got the best dvd possible. We have watched it back and still in amazement. difference and the experience was far better than we expected. Was a

Both myself, Matt and son Ben would like to say a huge 'Thank you!' for
your services.

We booked a 4D scan for yesterday (27th Sep) and travelled from Milton
Keynes, which is quite a long way to come. We thought we may have had a
wasted journey when it showed the baby was hiding behind the placenta and
visually we couldn't see much. You persevered to get a good image but to
no avail. We were both pleasantly surprised that you offered to re-scan
after I take a walk and hopefully prompt the little mite to move... that he
did!! We now have some lovely images as well as our DVD.

It's lovely to come across a service where you genuinely want people to
leave happy, even if this means running slightly behind with your
appointments. We very much appreciate this and I will definitely spread
the word about the great service you provide... even if this means a long
car journey for some, I will tell them it's definitely worth it, not just
for the service but also because you were caring and hospitable.

In September I arranged to have a 4d scan with you. My husband felt that since I was having so many problems with my pregnancy the scan might help me to focus on why I was going through such pain. During the final few months of my pregnancy I could barely move. I had good days and bad days. Yet on the bad days the DVD really helped me.

The result of this was Sofia, born on the 5th December. We have since looked at the scan and the likeness and clarity is incredible. I have attached a few pictures for you to see. I certainly would thoroughly recommend your service to anyone. It was well worth the money and it was a very lovely experience.

Hi... i don't know if you remember but my husband and i came down for a 3d
scan a few months back and i didn't want to know the sex of our baby but my
husband did and he kept it a secret until the birth of our daughter which
was on the 13th december 2006. Firstly you were right, my husband was told
that we were having a little girl. She is gorgeous and i would just like to
take this opportunity and say thank you for making us feel so welcomed when
we came for the scan. We would definatly recommend you to other mums and dads who are expecting. I have attached some photos with this e mail.. one is a 3d image of the scan and one is of our little girl. Its amazing how

I just wanted to say thank you for the unique experience we received on Saturday. It was truely amazing and something that I am so glad we decided to do. The whole thing was very relaxed and the sonographer looked like he enjoyed his job (which really makes a difference from the ones you meet in the hospital). I wanted to share a discovery I made with you too. I have attached a photo of my little boy (now 4) from the day he was born and the 4d scan photo of my baby girl from Saturday. Think they look alike?

Anyway, thank you again and I would have no hesitations in reccomending you to my friends, it was worth the trip to Nottingham to have this opportunity and experience.

Thursday 20th Sep still 1cm no change all day, have our own midwife KAY
Friday 21st Sep 6pm waiting for Dr Green. No progress so decide on
C-SECTION for 7.45am
